It’s a long trip for one game as the OCN Blizzard take to the road for Portage. They’re headed to play against the Terriers in a game being made up from December. The Blizzard are looking to keep pace with Winkler and Selkirk in the MJHL Standings. Portage could move into a tie for fourth with OCN with a win. Game time is 7:30pm.

The OCN Blizzard couldn’t beat the Steinbach Pistons last night. After beating Selkirk on Tuesday, OCN wrapped up this road trip with a 5-2 loss to the Pistons last night. The Blizzard next game will be Sunday afternoon at the GLMC  against the Winnipeg Blues.

One down, one to go. The OCN Blizzard got by the Selkirk Steelers 3-2 last night. The  Blizzard will face the number 1 team in the MJHL, the Steinbach Pistons tonight. We’ll have a full broadcast starting with the Pre-Game Show at 7:15 on 102-9 CJAR. With a win against Steinbach, OCN will be tied for 3^rd in the league with Winkler.

The Blizzard announced a trade yesterday. OCN will send forwards Shane Roullette and Drayson Collyer to the Swan Valley Stampeders with future considerations for defenseman Jordan Valentino. The 20 year old Valentino has 7 goals, 20 assists and has racked up 36 penalty minutes so far this season.
