The OCN Blizzard will be extending their season ticket special. Until July 31^st season tickets are only $225 and they can be purchased at the Blizzard office or paperwork’s plus.

The roster for the 2017 LA Kings development camp has been announced. And this year OCN Blizzard Defensemen Brady Keeper has been invited.

The development camp is set to Run from June 27th until the 30^th at Toyota Sports Center.

The OCN Blizzard Schedule for the 2017-2018 season has been released. The first Home game will be played on September 22nd against the Waywayceecappo Wolverines.

The award winners of this year’s Margret Barbour Colligate athletic awards have been announced as they wrap up the school year. Jani Hlady, Jordana Marlow, Mitchell Katcher, Jessi Goodridge all won the Athlete of the year awards.

Assistant principal Wendy Cull says they are gearing up for fall sports for the upcoming school year, which consist of golf, cross country, soccer and volleyball.

Last Week, The Midwest karate Club took part at the JKA National Karate Tournament in Kindersley Saskatchewan.

The club brought home a lot of medals and Black Belt Alexis Lehmann won the Jerry Marr Outstanding All Around Athlete Award for her performance at the tournament.

The Club will be going to a summer camp at Clearwater Lake This August.

The OCN Blizzard is having a golf tournament at The Halcrow Lake Golf and Country Club on June 24th.

Cooke and Cooke Insurance is a proud sponsor of the $10,000 hole in one portion event. If you get a hole in one on holes two or six during your first round you will win $10,000.

Registration beings at 9 am and the shotgun starts at 10. Registration fee is $100 per person and all proceeds will go towards the OCN Blizzard Hockey Team.

The Halcrow Lake Golf and Country Club is having their opening tournament starting tomorrow morning. The tournament is open to anyone. The entry fee is 50 bucks if you’re a member and 60 dollars for non members.
