Sunday saw the Northstars score their first goals of the season in a five two loss to the Parkland Rangers.
The Flin Flon Bombers outscored Melville 13 to four over the weekend at the Whitney Forum.The Bombers pounded the Millionaires nine-one on Friday. Saturday’s game was decided by one goal, as Flin Flon took a four-three victory despite an attempted late Melville comeback.
The OCN Blizzard are still winless following a pair of loses to the Portage Terriers. On Friday, the Terriers used a pair of power play goals and a short handed goal to beat the Blizzard four-three. Saturday, Portage scored four unanswered goals en route to a five-two victory. The Blizzard, still in search of their first win, will get their next shot on Friday as they head down to Portage for a rematch against the Terriers.
