The town of The Pas is helping residents with fall yard cleanups by providing trucks to pick up yard waste.

Trucks will make pickups from October 13th to 15th. Those with garbage pickup day 1 or 2 will put their yard waste out on October 13th. Day 3 or 4 should put their yard waste out on October 14th, and day 5 should put their yard waste out on October 15th. All yard waste should be put out before 8:00 AM. Regular household garbage is still to be placed in bags in your garbage stand and picked up on its regularly scheduled day.

To see the full list of disposal instructions, visit the Town of The Pas Facebook Page. Homeowners can arrange stick bundle pickups at their own cost.

The town is also reminding residents of the Efficiency Manitoba Appliance Recycling Program for large appliance removal, such as old fridges or freezers.

Members of council and town staff are encouraging all residents to take part in yard clean-up.
