The Pas and RM of Kelsey Candidates will meet with the public tonight.
Residents will have an opportunity to hear from municipal candidates at a public forum Wednesday, October fourteenth.
The Pas OCN Chamber of Commerce and University College of the North are co-hosting the event from seven to nine p.m. at UCN in The Pas.
Mayoral candidates Herb Jaques, Ralph McLean and James Ridderikhoff will be featured, along with candidates running for reeve of the RM of Kelsey.
The public is invited to hear their priorities and vision for the communities.
Residents of The Pas will also have another opportunity to learn about municipal candidates through an online Town Council Candidate Q&A tomorrow, October fifteenth.
Questions about municipal spending, infrastructure, property standards, development and accountability will be posted at eight a.m., noon and four p.m.
Candidates will have equal opportunities to respond, allowing residents to compare their positions on key community issues.
The goal is to encourage informed participation and provide a fair, non-partisan forum for voters.
The Q&A will take place on The Pas and OCN Chamber of Commerce Facebook page for public viewing.
Manitoba’s Municipal election will run on Wednesday, October 28th.
