Some volleyball action took place this past weekend, both locally and abroad.

MBCI, along with UCN, hosted their JV tournament here in town, while the SV boys were in Neepawa for the Tigers Invitational.

The MBCI JV boys would end up coming out on top in the finals against R.D. Parker Collegiate, while the JV girls came up short in their final against Swan Valley.

In round-robin action, the SV varsity boys went 1-2 in the first round, then followed that up with a perfect 3-0 record in round two, earning them a spot in the Silver Pool Championship.

The SV boys ended up beating the Springs Christian Eagles in their final contest of the weekend to capture the Silver Pool Championship.
