Giving Tuesday and the HSC Children's Hospital

Often, at this time of year, we get caught up in finding the best deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and forget what the holiday season is all about.

Connecting with family and friends and reflecting on values such as joy, love, and kindness.

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day of global generosity, and we are encouraging everyone to give back in one way or another.

The Children's Hospital at the Health Sciences Center is the only children's hospital in the province, often admitting children from across the province and even other provinces.

Today, for Giving Tuesday, all donations will have triple the impact thanks to generous donors who will double-match every dollar raised.

Currently, the cancer ward at the HSC Children's Hospital is undergoing state-of-the-art upgrades that have displaced families a bit but will allow for better family care as the project nears completion.
