Flexibility is an important part of a child's development that can increase physical performance while decreasing the risk of injuries.

Coming up through the month of October the Kelsey Recreation and Wellness Centre is offering a recreation gymnastics class for children in kindergarten to grade 8.

Students will meet either Tuesdays on October 10th,17th and 24th, or Fridays on the 6th, 13th and 27th depending on the option chosen at registration.

The Cost to register is $60 per child which can be paid at the Wellness Centre.

The OCN Storm begin their regular season this weekend with a home opener in the GLMC.

The team will face the newly formed Waywayseecappo Wild at 7:30.

The two teams already clashed together once this year, in pre-season action over the weekend with a 6-5 overtime loss for the storm.

The Blizzard had a rough start to the 2023-24 regular season over the weekend. After a 6-3 loss to the Swan Valley Stampeders and a 2-1 loss to the Dauphin Kings the Blizzard have most of the week to prepare for their first outer division match.

This Saturday the Blizzard host the Niverville Nighthawks in their first matchup of the year.

The Blizzard will be heading south for a 3 game road trip the following week against the Nighthawks, Winnipeg Blues and Portage Terriers October 6-8.

Le Pas De Danse Studio has a program coming up for adults. September 18th The dance studio will be hosting a 6 week Adult Jazz & Urban Rhythms class!

Participants will explore urban dance culture through a high energy blend of hip hop, street styles, and jazz.
